Can You Imagine?

Imagination brings knowledge Knowledge brings power Power brings success Success brings reverence Reverence brings respect Respect brings either arrogance or humbleness Arrrogance brings you closer to the dark Humbleness brings you closer to the light Dark attracts evil Light attracts good Evil attracts the Devil Good brings you towards God I am the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit So, what does that make you? You are the Father because you procreate You are the son because you are created You are the Holy Spirit because we all have the Spirit within us We are all the Children of God We fail to realize what is set right in front of our eyes to see We choose not to see because We have a veil cast upon our eyes We choose not to remove that veil because We are afraid We are afraid of the unknown We can be free like the birds in the sky We can be free like the fish in the sea We can be free like the beasts on the earth Yet, we don't see We choose not to see the truth But, the truth...

How Important is Culture?

How important is culture? For me, culture is a very important part of who you are and what you become. Some people, after leaving their country of origin, or their group or race of people, loose their culture. People who live in the so called western part of the world try to assimilate every group of people to their way of life or philosophy, meaning their way of talking, walking, and carrying on. This includes culture. Culture includes social norms, speech, dress, food, etc. My personal belief is that different groups of people were created to follow a certain norm or culture. Some of these cultures transforms into cults, which are a bit notorious. According to Wikipedia, the free online encyclopedia, "In common usage, "cult" has a negative connotation, and is generally applied to a group by its opponents, for a variety of possible reasons." using this definition, you can generalize cult in many ways. But, my understanding of cult is..... To Be Continused.....

Music and Spirituality

All throughout history, music and spirituality has been interchangeable. It is true some genres of music have been bastardized to the point where it is deceiving people and is in sync with evil. But there are musicians out there who are geniuses, messengers, holy men, and saints sent by God. Mankind is always afraid or doubtful about the unknown. So, they find ways to describe spirituality with logic. Everything can not be explained through logic. Some things are inconceivable to the human mind. That is why some holy men are called insane or lunatics because their powers are inconceivable to the human psyche. We don't realize how music influence us. Listening to music with bad lyrics or negative messages will change our outlook on life. Our taste in music often reflects our outward actions. People listen to music without realizing what it really is. To me, music is art, as well as revelations that are conveyed by God (or the Devil) through man. We fail to realize this simple ...

Our Social Obligations Continued.....

continued from " Our Social Obligations" .... but, they were highly spiritual in their thoughts and conduct. These spiritual minded people might lack the ability or interest in practicing certain social norms that are practiced by the general population. The general public feels obliged to do certain things because that is how one gains acceptance in today's society. Anything that is not socially acceptable, is shunned. They may feel guilty for not carrying out their social obligations. But, why should they? They are people and they have the God given right to do what they please as long as they are not harming mankind or nature for that matter. Our social obligations hold us back from reaching our full potential. So, next time you start feeling obliged to do something because of social obligations, think about it's implications on yourself. It is nice to keep everyone's views and opinions in mind when you decide to take a major step towards the "game of lif...

Are Relegions Man-made?

Are relegions man-made or devinely inspired? The proper definition of religion is: an institution to express belief in a divine power. Most religions have a figure that is attributed to be the founder of that particular religion. Buddah for Buddism, Zoroaster for Zoroastrianism, Moses for Judaism, Jesus for Christianity, Muhammad for Islam, and so on and so forth. So, in that sense religion is man made, but one can argue that the founders of the religions were devinely inspired. There is really no way of knowing, other than self experimentation. Certain mystics are credited with gaining enlightment or illumination of the spiritual realm through deep meditation. Whether this is true or not is up for you to decide. Mysticism is derived from mystery. Mystery is solved through searching for the truth. A spiritual person may call this truth "enlightment". Religion is usually a mysterious matter for most of us. It is difficult for people to grasp the mysteries of life. He/She tries...

Our Social Obligations

Everyday we live our lives in accordance to what the general public view as the norm of social life. If one of us (humankind) chose to take a different path, a path that is not considered normal, we are labled insane or we are perpetrated to be the outcasts of society. Often, some of the younger generation (18-25), such as myself, find it hard to relate to our peers because of their attraction to mainstream ideas and values, which some of us (the "abnormal") lack. This causes problems for us socially, culturally, and with dealing with our family lives. We often tend to become isolated from society amongst our peers as well as amongst our family and friends. Some of us become depressed because of the isolation, whereas others take advantage of this opportunity and go more into their spiritual/mystic side, which is also shunned by society. At this point, this individual decides to let go. This concept of "letting go" has been used by ex-prophets, messangers of God, sa...
