Frustration

These words of mine are burning me
I can't express the pain I feel
No matter what I write or what I say
This pain will never go away


It feels like nobody tries to understand me
I act according to my own creed
Am I wrong to plant my own seed
Giving birth to the thinking of my own breed


What's wrong with individuality
I want my own place in society
I want people to stop judging me
I want to stop living this lie I live

Why do I have to live up to your expectation
While I get buried in a mountain of frustration
This soul of mine is tired of all the degradation
While the ignorant ones utter falsehood and sensation

What is it that I need to survive
What is it that makes me feel alive
What is it that gives me drive
To overcome this pain and escape this lie

There is someone looking out for me
Someone who I can feel but not see
I feel their aura surrounding me
Whenever it is love and support I need

These words of mine are lifting me
I can't express the power I feel
No matter what you write or what you say
I will always stay the same
